Exoplanet surveys over the past two decades have revealed that Earth-sized, temperate planets orbit 10–20% of nearby stars. Yet Earth remains the only known life-bearing planet. To assess the habitability of these worlds, we must understand how their atmospheres interact with interiors and oceans. We will develop a generalized carbon and sulfur cycle model that is applicable across a wide range of exoplanetary environments.
